So I emailed the cover letter and resume online for the Pixar internship on Sunday, and I mailed the demo presentation, the cover letter, and resume on Monday. The package should be at their studio by Thursday. That's some weight off my chest. I hope a powerpoint won't be a problem, I couldn't just give the random images without the story behind them. It's not long, it would take an average person four minutes to finish so I think I'll be okay. I'm crossing my fingers, hopefully things will work out. I didn't include any digital art, but I'm more familiar with the workings of photoshop, and with a few months time I should be able to get the hang of my tablet. Things are looking brighter.
The semester's over, however the job hunt's a bit lousy. I applied to a few summer camps/babysitting stuff, but have yet to hear a reply.
I was talking with some colleges at the studio, and they were telling me how their commissioners are a little annoying. I'm sitting there thinking how in the world they've gotten commissions. On girl inked a garden on Bristol paper, and is coloring it in with pencils for $180. I've always gotten people asking to do my stuff for free, and offered more broad things besides the usual stuff I post here. It's a little frustratin, I admit. However I'm hoping that will change.
I'm sleeping better, but getting into the habit of drinking more coffee in the morning has helped out.
I think that's enough..
